Signed Servin Mexican Art Pottery Vase, Navy & Ivory

A little piece of Mexican artistry.

At just 6" tall, this stoneware, hand-painted vase offers a lot of geometric and floral details in a compact form.

Why It’s Special

The underside is signed “Servin Mexico,” connecting the vase to a pottery tradition associated with Javier Servín’s workshops in Guanajuato. Established in 1981, his ceramic practice became known for painstaking hand-applied decoration and tactile raised enamel designs. The precise maker and date of this particular vase have not been independently verified, but its elaborate surface is very much part of the appeal.

Styling & Use

This little vase has plenty of personality, so it doesn't need much company. Try it on a bookshelf or a mantle with other neutral-toned elements to let the design stand out.

Or, give it a spot on a pale stone or marble surface on it's own and let those wonderful colors and textures shine. It also pairs well on a tray or vignette with amber glass, warm woods, and a touch of ochre.

Lovely displayed on its own or with a few dried stems. Watertightness has not been tested.

Condition

Very Good. Beautiful overall appearance with a few faint surface marks visible on close inspection that don't detract from the overall presentation. Handcrafted surface variations are present. Inspect final photographs and confirm rim, base and interior before publication.
