Hi, I’m Judy Young, founder of Golden Wren.
Golden Wren grew from a belief that the details around us can influence how everyday moments feel. That value can come from how we live: what we do, how we connect with others, what we surround ourselves with, and how we express ourselves. Things that add value are often the ones that are useful, beautiful, expressive, or simply interesting enough to make a moment feel special.
My love of creating beautiful spaces started early. As a child, I'd flip through the Sears mail-order catalog, studying rooms and decor I loved and imagining the day when I would have spaces of my own to create.
That interest never left. I’ve always found a sense of peace, satisfaction, and happiness in creating a home that feels thoughtfully put together. Early on, I learned to be resourceful by shopping secondhand, painting and reimagining pieces, and finding my own way to create the feeling I was after.
More recently, that interest expanded into studying interior design concepts, experimenting with wallpaper and note-card design, and rediscovering the pleasure of thrifting.
Those two paths, curated finds and original designs, became Golden Wren.
Today, Golden Wren brings together pieces for home, giving, gathering, personal style, and everyday moments, all chosen with the same point of view.
I’m drawn to pattern, color, interesting forms, craftsmanship, and the unexpected. I love the detail that gives a room personality, makes a table feel special, helps people stay connected, or offers another way to express personal style.
There is no single style, period, or category that defines what belongs at Golden Wren. What connects the collection is a belief in choosing intentionally: finding the details that add interest, personality, usefulness, beauty, inspiration, or connection to the everyday.
The goal isn’t perfection or a perfectly styled life. It’s to notice, choose, use, share, and enjoy the details that make everyday moments feel more personal and special.
At the end of the day, the things themselves are not the point. What they add to the moment is.
